Entry to the Sixth Form is on the basis of performance in an entrance exam and at interview. In practice they should expect to gain a significant number of 8 or 9 grades.  We are looking for a minimum of five 8 or 9 grades at GCSE, and at least an 8 in the subjects they wish to study in the Lower Sixth (Year 12).

Entrance Exam

Entrance tests take place in the November before admission, when candidates are in Year 11.

Exams should be in subjects which the candidate is studying at GCSE Level and intending to take for A level or subjects which relate to those that will be taken.

Applicants nominate the two subject areas on which they would like to be examined by indicating their choices on the application form.
